Humanitarian Duty: Service to Humanity.

Stand up to make a difference,
let your voice be heard for
a positive change,
join hands with others to
create an oasis of peace;
network with people of
like mind to make the
world a better place to live.

Silver or gold you may
not have,
copper or diamond
you may not possess;
give your heart and your talent,
give your time and your energy,
all-you have-to the service of
humanity.

Give the weak your power and
strength,
give those living with disabilities-
your abilities-
your knowledge turn into
light for others to see,
your wisdom-make it
a-solution-providing-
gift,
your insight let it
benefit humankind.

In the rain and in the sun,
make yourself available,
have pity on those crying,
show sympathy to depressed
souls,
empathize with those in
special need;
oppressed and subjugated
please, lift up.

Your wealth make
a commonwealth,
judge not by color,
share love not by faith and
culture alone,
but to everyone in everywhere
manifest your love.

Torch of Liberty and
Freedom-carry wherever
you go;
even, if battlefield and frontline
are laid with mines,
roads are rough and deadly;
still, the battle of weak-
you must fight.

Do you hold power in
trust for others?
Use wisely,
promote mankind’s
happiness by means of
power.

Common person,
let power set free,
rather than being in chain;
power do not sell to
the highest bidder,
instead, power must work
for public good.

Define your friendship
not by social status,
rather let the common
origin of life motivates you.

From north to south,
east to west,
mankind shall remember
individuals that had given
their lives for others to live:
Dag Hammarskjold, Mother Teresa,
Mahatma Gandhi, Martin Luther King,
Florence Nightingale, Elizabeth Fry,
Helen Keller, Baden Powell,
Eleanor Roosevelt, Nelson Mandela,
Harriet Beecher Stowe, William Booth,
Edith Cavell and Sergio Vieira De Mello.

From oriental to occidental
mankind shall treasure
individuals in volatile and
dangerous spots around the
globe doing good deeds that
human souls be saved and
protected.

Today is just another DAY-
grateful world of humankind
want to say: “thank you, merci,
danke,  xie xie, kiitos,  efharisto,
toda, shukria, shukran, grazie,
arigato, kamsa hamnida, takk,
asante, gracias, obrigado,
e-seun-pupo, gaelic, spasibo,
dekuyi, kwap-kunkrap/ka,
ngiyabonga.”
